Bears@taddy

  We are thrilled to be able to visit church again and had a wonderful afternoon today learning about advent. Giraffes did a great job of decorating the church Christmas tree and we were made to feel very welcome by members of the church community. 

We have been very productive today, making gingerbread ready to sell at the Christmas fair. The Bears took turns to add the ingredients into the bowl and mixed them together.                                                                                          When all the ingredients were combined, we rolled out the mixed and cut out different Christmassy shapes and baked them in the oven.                      Later, we decorated them with icing and sprinkles then packed them ready for the Christmas fair.                                                                                                                                              They look fantastic! Well done Bears.

 We have been very busy elves this week preparing for Christmas!  The elves have been working hard in the Santa's workshop to make picture frames, using saws, double sided bench hooks, clamps, square section wood and glue.  They have been making and wrapping toys in Santa's grotto, ready for Father Christmas to deliver, as well as drawing, cutting out and decorating stars to add to our role play.                                        We have also all contributed to our collaborative artwork, practising using a needle and threat to create a lovely blanket.
