Anansi the Spider call and response song
During our Literacy lessons, we have been reading Anansi the spider- an African folk tale. We looked at the map of Africa and found Ghana, where the story originates and learnt the call and response song 'Che Che Kule'. Yesterday, we made up our own call and response song based on the story about Anansi. The children learnt their new song and performed it using percussion instruments. Today, the Year 1 children taught the receptions the song and they sang altogether.
