May Day!
Pinch, punch, first of the month!
Hope you’re all rested and ready for another exciting day of learning. My walk this morning was a bit soggy so I’ve found a soggy rain art activity that I thought you might enjoy.

To make rainbow rainy day art you need some washable markers, water colour paper/card
/thick paper.
Instructions
- Children draw a rainbow, creating artwork and doodles using all of the colours of the rainbow in any way they choose.
- Place your rainbow drawing out in the rain and watch what happens.
- Pick up your rainbow rainy day art and carefully bring it inside to allow to dry. Hold it as flat as possible when you carry it in–watch out it can drip!
- The colors may shift and change depending on how much water is on the paper. Watching the colors move on wet paper is also fun.
Enjoy!
I hope you have a great day, whatever you get up to. Looking forward to hearing all about your days. Good luck with the scone making Ted, that will be a tasty lunch!
Stay safe and look after each other.
