Bonfire night Forest schools

 To celebrate Bonfire night, we had a fire this afternoon during Forest schools. Once the fire was hot enough, we put sugar and treacle into a bowl and heated it over the fire to make toffee.

 When the toffee was ready, we dipped apples into the toffee to make toffee apples. The Bears and Tigers enjoying eating them and singing campfire songs together after they'd set.
