The Tiny Seed

Bears have had a great start to the half term, enjoying their new book ‘The Tiny a Seed’. They started the week by following instructions about how to plant a seed. They given the equipment and had to remember each step then independently planted their own seed.

First, they filled they pot half full with soil.

Then, they added a seed to the pot.

Next, they put soil on top of the seed, until it was full.

Finally, they added a sprinkle of water.

After they had planted their seed, they labelled their pot.

We have also been busy  painting ‘Sunflowers’ inspired by Van Gogh and assisting customer in the 'garden centre', labelling items, recommending books and products, creating seed packets to sell, even making and arranging flowers to sell.
