Bolsover Castle

Bears and Tigers had a great day visiting Bolsover Castle as part of our learning topic Magnificent Monarchs.

We had fun exploring the old ruins of the castle, the old kitchens, picnics on the lawn and dressing up as Magnificent Monarchs. We all had a real experience of what life would have been living in such a grand place.

Good morning!

Good morning Bears. I hope you’ve all had a lovely weekend. Just wanted to say how much I’m looking forward to seeing what you’ve been doing. Don’t forget to share your learning with us on here and add observations to Tapestry. Let me know if there’s anything I can help with by emailing me. Don’t forget to get out in the garden and share what learning you’ve been doing there too. I’m going to share some links to some free audio books on the home learning document for you to enjoy also. Happy home schooling! Miss Furness

After laying out the pastry in the dish and adding the apples, they then washed up and dryed all the equipment as a team.
