Natural treasure book marks

Yesterday we wandered off through the village, collecting things of interest to add to our very own bookmarks.

The children were full of enthusiasm, finding a wide variety of wild flowers, interesting grasses, ferns, seeds and leaves. They were able to identify many of the plants they found and we researched anything unfamiliar on our return.

We managed to walk up to five wells, where, like last week the children were able to enjoy lovely views of our surrounding area (as well as quick go on the slide as we passed).

Saying hello to the sheep and her now rather large lambs.

Enjoying singing the shanties they learnt earlier in the week as they walked.

Beautifully arranged natural bookmarks, ready to be laminated and put to good use.

What a fantastic bunch you all are, a thoroughly enjoyable time together.
