Good Friday

Today we looked at hot cross buns and why they are traditionally made on Good Friday. The children had some good discussions around what they symbolise before eating them together. We learnt about the story of  Good Friday and talked together about how the story made us feel.

Later, we joined with the Tigers to create picture representations of Holy week, bringing together their learning from the whole week.

We were so impressed how well the children had thought about each event and the way they felt about them. They have shown a real understanding of the Christian story of Easter.
