A very proud moment (our class assembly)

This afternoon the Bears delivered their very first class assembly to the rest of the school. They decided that they would like to perform a re-telling of ‘The Tiny Seed’. The children were given parts of the story in pairs; they wrote a caption, made props, chose costumes then we put each part together to re-tell the whole story. We even had a narrator that told the whole story beautifully!

The seeds blowing in the Autumn winds

A bird pecking the seed

A seed falling into the Ocean

A weed growing quickly and blocking the light of another plant, killing it

Finally 'The Tiny Seed' turned into a beautiful, tall flower

We love this story because 'The Tiny Seed' shows courage and perseverance even though he is faced with challenges along the way.

We finished by singing a song we've learnt called 'I'm a little sunflower' that explains what a sunflower needs in order to grow.

Well done Bears, you were fabulous and thoroughly entertaining!
