Minibeast Safari
Minibeast Safari
As part of our companion topic, Creep, Crawl and Wriggle, Bears visited our school woods and went on a minibeast safari. We looked for minibeasts in their natural habitat, their home. We looked under rocks, logs and leaf litter with our magnifying glasses to investigate where the minibeasts were hiding. We recorded our findings. We found a ladybird, lots of worms of different sizes, beetles, spiders, and slugs. Bears were careful to put back their minibeasts after their investigations.
